YOU ARE NOT ALONE

Remember, it is NEVER your fault.

Your abuser's actions do not define you

If at some point in your life you have experienced abuse, you are not alone. Seek help and talk to someone you trust. In most cases, the abuser is someone of close relation to you. This may be a parent, significant other, or friend. Never be afraid to speak up and let your voice be heard. Abusers want power and the ability to control you at all times. If you find yourself in a situation where you are walking on eggshells around them for fear of angering them, or not participting in activities in which you usually do, speak up. NEVER LET YOUR ABUSER SILENCE YOU!
